KBCZ Music Fest ran at Garrahan Park on Saturday, August 29, 2026, from 2 to 7:30 p.m. It was an easygoing afternoon of live bands and the main fundraiser for KBCZ, the listener-supported community station at 89.3 FM. What the afternoon was like
An afternoon of live bands on an outdoor stage at Garrahan Park, put on by and for the KBCZ community. At a festival this size you spend as much time greeting neighbors as watching the stage.
The 2026 lineup was The Coffis Brothers, Trestles, Squidrow Orchestra and The Mother Corn Shuckers.

It is an outdoor concert in a park, which makes for an easygoing, all-ages afternoon. Bring what you would bring to any outdoor show with kids, and plan for sun and warmth in late August.
What tickets cost in 2026
Tickets were sold through Eventbrite. Advance tickets were $15 for adults against $20 at the door, so buying ahead was both the safe move and the cheaper one. Pricing for the next one will be announced by the station.

A low chair or blanket, sun protection, and water. Bring cash for anything your ticket doesn't cover, and pack a layer for when the afternoon cools off under the redwoods.
Who it supports
The festival comes from KBCZ, Boulder Creek's volunteer-run community radio station, and it is the station's signature fundraiser. Ticket money keeps local radio on the air, including the community and emergency information the station provides. The station takes donations year-round.
