SWAG: The Eclectic Collective on Highway 9
SWAG is the store you can't summarize in one word, which is why its owner settled on "the eclectic collective." It's at 13026 Highway 9, in the middle of the downtown block, and in 2026 it's in its tenth year.
What is on the floor
The shop's own list runs: restored mid-century stereos, vinyl, vintage apparel, local apparel, jewelry, art, and consignment. In practice it's a room you browse rather than shop, and the stock moves.
One part of that list is changing. Jeff Brough, who runs the shop, posted at the start of 2026 that console stereo sales had declined and that he was redirecting his attention toward on-site music events and away from restoration work, with the remaining consoles due to sell off through the year. If you're coming specifically for a restored console, call first; there may be a handful left, and there may not.
SWAG also carries select pieces from Stumptown Supply, the local apparel brand, which is the only place in town you can see those shirts in person.
The music
The other half of the business is a room with a stage in it. SWAG has been running live music, including a monthly Saturday series through the warm months of its tenth year and a set at Boulder Creek's First Friday. The shop states plainly that 100 percent of the door goes to the musicians.

The building itself has a story SWAG likes to tell: the shop says it dates to 1893 and describes it as the first US building owned and operated by women. That's the shop's claim, and we haven't been able to source it independently, so take it as the shop tells it.
