What Food Delivery Works in Boulder Creek

Here's how I know what delivers up here. When our baby arrived, friends and coworkers sent DoorDash gift cards, the mountain version of a meal train, since casserole drop-offs don't quite work when everyone lives twenty minutes up a winding road. We worked through every local place that delivers, most of them more than once.

Boulder Creek has one local DoorDash option: River Dogs, the outdoor hot dog stand on Forest Street.
The app also brings orders up from Brookdale, Ben Lomond, Felton, and Scotts Valley:
- Brookdale Diner is at 11570 Highway 9 in Brookdale. Its in-house delivery serves rooms inside the Lodge. DoorDash is the option for delivery to your house.
- Paleteria Los Freseros is a new paleta shop in Ben Lomond with no website yet.
- Felton options include Empire Grill, The Grove bakery and cafe, and Taqueria Vallarta.
- Scotts Valley options include Kao Sook Thai, Maya Mexican, Laughing Monk Brewing, Canton Restaurant, House of Bagels, Taqueria Los Gallos' Scotts Valley location, Peet's, Starbucks, and Chipotle.
The standout of our gift-card era was Kao Sook. The pineapple fried rice is refreshing, the sweet tang balancing the salt, and the yellow curry with extra potatoes carries just the right amount of kick. The mango sticky rice is worth the delivery fee even if it's the only thing you order.
On Uber Eats
In Boulder Creek, Uber Eats carries Taqueria Los Gallos at 13070 Central Avenue and, since September 21, 2026, Round Table Pizza at 13200 Central Avenue.
From Scotts Valley, the roster includes Ambrosia India Bistro, Rumble Fish, Erik's DeliCafe, Jia Tella's, La Chimichanga Cantina, Soul Sweets Tea House, Maya Mexican, and Canton Restaurant.
Uber Eats also lists several Santa Cruz restaurants for Boulder Creek delivery: The Habit Burger Grill, Ike's Love & Sandwiches, Fusion Fare, Noodle Time, and Back Nine Grill & Bar.
On Grubhub
Grubhub's Boulder Creek options come from Scotts Valley. The list includes Mountain Mike's Pizza, Erik's DeliCafe, Starbucks, Subway, Togo's, Chipotle, La Chimichanga, and Jamba.
Pizza delivery
Boulder Creek has its own pizzeria again. Round Table Pizza opened at 13200 Central Avenue on September 21, 2026, and it is listed for delivery through Uber Eats, with availability depending on your address. For direct orders or questions, call 831-338-2141.
From outside town, three more pizzerias deliver, each through a different ordering route.
Round Table's Felton store delivers through its own ordering page. The Pizza Series in Scotts Valley delivers through DoorDash. Mountain Mike's in Scotts Valley delivers through Grubhub.

Order ahead
Two local food businesses take advance orders, with pickup or delivery options as described below.
Creative Heart Kitchen offers a weekly prepared-meal menu with pickup in Boulder Creek, Brookdale, and Ben Lomond. Orders close days ahead, making this a Sunday decision about Wednesday dinner.
Butter Late Than Never takes online orders and offers local delivery. Its special-order policy asks for at least one week's notice. Contact the bakery about timing and availability.
Ordering for pickup
Several Boulder Creek restaurants accept pickup orders. Round Table Pizza takes orders by phone at 831-338-2141. Red Pearl offers pickup but does not deliver. El Rey Leon, the Mexican food truck on Central Avenue, takes orders at the truck or by phone for pickup only. The former Sawmill operation is closed and is not a current ordering option.
Downtown is a short drive from most of town. Pickup also remains an option when the power is out.
Groceries
Safeway in Felton, Costco, and Nob Hill deliver to Boulder Creek through Instacart and DoorDash. Safeway also provides its own delivery and DriveUp & Go pickup from the Graham Hill Road store, 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. Imperfect Foods delivers produce-and-pantry boxes here as well. In town, Wild Roots and Johnnie's are in-store shopping options.
When the list changes
Delivery coverage is determined one address at a time, based partly on which drivers are online. Storms can shrink the service area. A closure on Highway 9 can remove delivery options for the evening.
If an app declines your address, try the restaurant's own phone line. It's often the better route.
